If you want to work or go to school in the Portland OR area, but still wish to remain a couple with this girl, you two would be far better off living in Vancouver, WA, where the age of consent is 16. This way you can have the best of both worlds. While it might be a bit inconvenient if you work in Portland and live across the river in Vancouver, this will offset the far greater problem of facing statutory rape charges in the future.
