To some degree I agree with you. But the one FACT that everyone here is missing, even the top dogs at MySpace and Facebook are missing is that IT DOES NOT TAKE A CURRENTLY REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER TO COMMIT A SEX CRIME. Even the people who are currently on the sex offender registry had a time in their lives when they have NO CRIMINAL RECORD. Point being: YOU NEVER KNOW WHO IS GOING TO COMMIT A SEX CRIME AGAINST A MINOR OR AN ADULT. So...that being said...how about a law suit that shuts down ALL social networking sites so that we can stop potential new sex offenses from happening? If a person with a sex offense (of any kind) cannot utilize the internet in this modern era of social sites to keep in touch with their friends and loved ones, then NO ONE ELSE SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO EITHER. Let's just take away EVERYONE'S constitutional rights in this FREE country.
