My names Markus and I am an 18 year old male from
California where the age is 18 and now lives in
Washington where the age is 16.
I disagree. I dont think the age should be that low. At the age 12, nither girls nor boys are nearly a mature as they should be in order to be trusted with that kind of responsability. Ive seen all sorts of different people, wether they grew up with a strict family or a loose family, end up with kids before 18. I think, at most, the age of consent should be 16 because they have had a chance to be in high school for a while and had a chance to learn and mature more before they make a desecion that will stick with them for the rest of thier lives.
